Capital returns to Syria: Reconstruction as an arena of competition and a potential opportunity for Poland

France is returning to Damascus alongside representatives of major companies; Gulf states are announcing projects, mobilising financing and positioning themselves in key sectors, while international operators are securing long-term concessions to manage and develop Syrian port terminals.
